Shopping with Value House

Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless expressly stated. Check the individual appliance condition, model, dimensions, warranty and availability before ordering. Delivery and service availability depend on the product and address. Pickup is by appointment.

Orders, product condition and returns

Order and appointment details are confirmed by the store. Factory Second, Resealed and other conditions are described on the product page. Contact Value House with your order number for a cancellation, return or service issue. Product warranties and store policies apply alongside your rights under Australian Consumer Law; they do not replace those rights.

Return requests are reviewed according to the product condition, warranty and applicable consumer rights.

Current installation prices

Prices include GST and apply to each appliance selected. Postcode delivery is separate. Your cart shows the current options and totals.

Delivery and confirmation

Installation is offered only with an appliance order that has a valid delivery address and a supported delivery postcode. Pickup orders and delivery areas that require a freight quote do not qualify until delivery is confirmed by the shop. Selecting or paying for an option is a request; the store must confirm the scope, installer and appointment.

Store assessment and refusal

All installations are subject to assessment. Value House may decline or reschedule an installation for any reason, including difficult or unsafe access, unsuitable connections or mounting surfaces, extra work, excessive travel distance, or an unavailable installer. We will contact you about the available arrangements.

Scope and extra work

Basic installation covers a straightforward setup using suitable existing connections. Dryer wall mounting or stacking, new plumbing, electrical or gas work, cabinetry, bench alterations, ducting, brackets, parts and other extra work are included only if expressly confirmed in the quote. Cooktop, rangehood, canopy and TV installation scope must be confirmed before work begins. Work requiring a licence must be performed by an appropriately licensed person. Extra work is quoted and agreed before it starts.

Per-appliance charges

Installation prices are charged for each appliance selected, including two or more units of the same model. Upstairs without a lift is charged for each appliance delivered upstairs; downstairs and suitable lift access have no additional access fee at the current rates. The cart shows the current prices and quantities. Postcode delivery charges are separate.

Fully integrated appliances

Tick Request a quote from the shop for a fully integrated appliance. This records an enquiry only; no installation price or booking is confirmed and no installation fee is collected for the request. Cabinet panels, integration work and required parts must be agreed with the shop.

Attendance and authority to leave

Authority to leave is optional and free at the current rate. Choose a safe, weather-protected location and provide clear delivery instructions. It applies to appliance delivery only. A responsible adult must be present for installation or old-appliance removal, so authority to leave cannot be combined with those services.

Timing, cancellation and refunds

Installation may be arranged separately from delivery. The shop will confirm the appointment and agreed timeframe. If we decline or cannot complete a paid installation, or it is not completed within the agreed period, we will refund the fee for the installation not supplied. Any alternative work or changed price requires your agreement. This does not limit other remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.

Consumer rights

These conditions do not exclude, restrict or replace consumer guarantees or other rights under Australian Consumer Law. Contact Value House with your order number if an installation or delivery needs review.
