Product Condition Guide

At Value House, we sell a range of products across different conditions so customers can choose the right balance between price, appearance, warranty, and value. Each product page shows the item’s condition where applicable, along with warranty information and important product details.

Factory Seconds

Factory seconds are brand-new products that may have minor cosmetic imperfections, such as small dents, scratches, carton damage, or packaging marks. These imperfections do not affect the product’s function.

All factory seconds are checked to ensure they are fully functional before sale. Warranty coverage may vary depending on the product, brand, and listing, and will be shown on the product page and/or invoice.

Factory seconds are a strong value option for customers who want major savings while accepting minor cosmetic imperfections.

Refurbished Items

Refurbished products have been professionally inspected, cleaned, repaired if required, and tested to ensure they are in working order.

These products may have been returned by customers, used briefly, repaired, or had parts replaced. They may show light signs of previous handling or use, depending on the product.

Warranty coverage may vary by item and will be shown on the product page and/or invoice. Refurbished items offer excellent value for customers looking for reliable products at reduced prices.

Resealed Items

Resealed items are products where the original packaging has been opened, damaged, replaced, or resealed.

The item itself is generally unused unless stated otherwise on the product page. Resealed stock may come from display handling, packaging defects, customer change-of-mind returns, or warehouse repacking.

These items are checked before sale and may include warranty coverage as stated on the product page and/or invoice.

Brand New Items

Brand new items are unused products supplied in their original manufacturer packaging.

They usually include the applicable manufacturer warranty, unless otherwise stated. Warranty length and coverage may vary depending on the product, brand, and listing, and will be shown on the product page and/or invoice.

Brand new items are best for customers who want untouched stock in standard retail packaging.

Ex-Display Items

Ex-display items have been used for showroom, floor, or demonstration display.

They may show light signs of handling, marks, or cosmetic wear, but have not been used as a regular household item. Each ex-display item is checked before sale.

Warranty coverage may be provided by the manufacturer or Value House, depending on the product and brand. The applicable warranty will be shown on the product page and/or invoice.
